Jong ECP - Visiting RIPE NCC in Amsterdam: How the internet really works

03-12-2025

A complex infrastructure keeps our digital society running. To dive deeper into this world, Jong ECP, NL IGF, University of Twente, and RIPE NCC are joining forces to organise a special work visit to RIPE NCC in Amsterdam. RIPE NCC is one of the world’s five Regional Internet Registries, responsible for Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia. During this visit, master’s students and young professionals will have the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of internet governance, understand the technical backbone of the internet, and engage directly with experts. The programme is designed to bridge the policy and technology aspects of the internet, bringing together perspectives from both worlds.

The visit will take place on Wednesday 3 December, from 14:00 to 16:30, in Amsterdam.
