Goméz, Krischock, and Woodgate met during their master’s program at Sandberg Instituut (2017-2019). Together they launched PUB, an experimental publishing platform and network run by students within the school across all departments. PUB is the first organization of its kind in the history of Sandberg. Together they grew the platform to involve more than 50 students and hosted more than 20 events experimenting and expanding publishing tools, methods and network structures.
Krischock is a designer who studied at the Bauhaus University in Weimar (BFA), Tokyo University of the Arts (BFA) and the Sandberg Instituut till 2019 (MFA). He uses graphic design, spatial design and education to provide means for greater sensitivities to the environments and communities we live within. To make kin with our networked surroundings he probes the subversive potential of computational defects in which the user becomes conscious of its potential for shaping space and human interaction.
Woodgate is an artist and designer focusing her practice on the politics of landscapes and infrastructures. Woodgates’ approach is speculative, practical, and site and context-responsive, presenting critical possibilities to concepts on social orders, resource management and information distribution bringing clarity, scale, and accessibility. In 2011 she co-founded radioee.net a nomadic, translingual, online radio station focusing on mobility. In 2015 she co-founded TVGOV, a media think tank providing ecological data visualization. She has exhibited internationally in major museums and art centers.
