Since 2013 The Netherlands hosts the One conference (formerly known as the Govcert symposium, the first in 2002). For many people from the technical cyber security community one of the ‘must-visit’ conferences in. Partly due to the link with the Global Conference on Cyberspace (2015) and the Dutch EU-presidency (2016) the One Conference has grown in importance. The conference will now be broadened to an initiative of the national government. This will lead to a Conference with not only the focus on merely cybersecurity focus but also on the economic opportunities offered by the cyber domain. This is consistent with the approach chosen for the strengthening of our national cybersecurity. The One Conference is a two day conference consisting of a plenary program and various breakout sessions. Both technical topics such as malware detection, incident response, law enforcement cases and less technical subjects, among others, public-private partnerships, are discussed. Attention is also given to research from industry and science. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NL) of the Ministry of Security and Justice are pleased to announce the International One Conference 2017 that will take place on May 16 and 17, 2017 in The Hague, the Netherlands. It will appeal to a broad audience, from technical specialists and decision makers to policy makers and researchers. In plenary sessions and parallel tracks, leading experts and inspiring speakers will present a variety of topics. Technical subjects such as malware and monitoring, less technical subjects about organizational aspects of security and privacy, cybercrime and incident response cases, strategy, policy and public-private partnerships are amongst the topics you can choose from.
